Profile:
Damon Huffman began racing when he was five years old. Already at the age
of 8 he was the 50cc national peewee champion. Damon continued racing at the
top of his class as he progressed through the ranks on his dreams of
becoming pro. That dream became reality, and Damon turned Pro in 1992.
In 1993, Damon's second year of Supercross racing he won four 125 Supercross
main events. This propelled him into a 125cc West Coast Supercross
championship in 1994 and 1995. In 1995 Damon won 6 out of 8 races in
dominating the 125cc west coast Supercross series. Damon then finished
3rd
in the 125 outdoor nationals.
In 1996 Damon moved into the premier class or the 250cc ranks as most people
call it. 1996 netted H-Diddy three 2nd place finishes and one 3rd place
finish. In his second year of 250cc pro racing, Damon won the most
prestigious championship in Supercross - World Supercross Champion! Over the
next six years Damon's continued his success in racing. Damon has had to
deal with some injuries over the last few years, however he has maintained
an extremely high level of athleticism and determination. Currently, Damon
is riding for Honda Canada Blackfoot Thor Racing with teammate JSR as they
battle for the Canadian Championship.
