Ezra Lusk and Rich Swisher (Ezra Lusk's agent) flew into
Barcelona in the very early morning. Rich recaps, “We left the hotel at
4:00am, drove to Milan to fly out, and arrived in Barcelona at 8:45am where we
rushed to the track to put on the minimum amount of bike parts and ride last
practice. Ezra completely dominated Barcelona winning all three main
event motos despite in my opinion the Euros trying to torpedo him every chance
they got. Yogi responded once by showing one of the gentlemen the way off of
the track. Ezra did salute the crowd as the crowd loved his big whips
over the finish line jump.”
“In Italy
he was busting tricks too. I missed them, but I think he did a double can
that got everyone charged up. Ezra's closest competition was Javier
Vico-Garcia who won the final round of the FIM GP series in Russia in the 500
class and another guy that I did not know, but he rode very well. Damon
Huffman and Mike Brown were also there racing representing the USA. Huffman got
5th o/a and Brown was outside of the top 10.”
”Ezra is working hard in the off season to prepare himself for the World
Supercross Series which will get underway in December. Ezra wants to be in top
shape this year, so he is ready to challenge Ricky Carmichael for the US
Supercross Championship from the very first race at Anaheim all the way to the
end.”
