Hey Tallon! I used to race out in California at Sand Hill Ranch against Tyson in the 80 and 50 class back in '78. He used to spank me on his modified 50 (I think he was on an Italjet)when I was on my stock RM, but he didn't want any of me in the 80 class.. :) I remember you always running around at the track (you weren't racing yet). I still remember that volkswagen van your parents had! The good old days!
I just got back into riding a few years ago and was surprised when I saw you on tv! I think the first race I caught you at was one where you were giving RC a riding lesson and then you went down...you are a wild rider boy!
It's good to see that you guys stuck with the sport. I wish I could have, but my family life didn't let it happen. Good luck with all your future rides, and I hope to catch you on the tube in the near future. Are you planning on riding the next outdoor nationals?
Anyway...tell Tyson Hello for me, even though I doubt he will remember me. I rode a '78 RM50, a '77 YZ80, and then a '78 RM80. My brother also raced in the 80 class on an RM out at Sand Hill Ranch...he used to whip both me and Tyson. My number was 85...the best I can remember, and my brother was 74. That would be pretty neat if Tyson remembered me.
Take care, and good luck!

Tyson comes over today and I'll ask him if he recalls racing you.

Hi Tallon, I recently saw you warming up by skipping at the international in Hawkstone Park in GB. Can you fill me in on warming up and stretching? How long before a race? How much warming up? etc.... I just bought a cyclo-trainer ( you know the roller things which you put your mtb on). Are these any good for warming up? PS Best of luck in the GPs and it's great to see you back in Europe. See you in Valkenswaard. Hope you kick ass. A fan in Ireland....

Jumping rope or the bike is equally as good. I think between 5 and 10 minutes is good depending on wether or not your jumping or bicycling. Thanks for the support. Stay tuned to my web page for all the latest.
